Inspirations Paint CQ is Central Queensland’s largest and leading network of paint stores, servicing both the retail (DIY) and trade (professional/commercial) markets. A permanent full time or part time Paint Sales Assistant position is available in our Emerald store. Previous experience within the paint industry is preferable but not essential.
The position is available for immediate start and you will receive ongoing industry leading training, award wages and a uniform. The store is open from 7am - 5pm Mon to Fri and 8.30am - 12.30pm on Saturdays. You will be required to work some Saturdays however the store is not open on Sundays or public holidays.

PAINT SALES ASSISTANT EMERALD
You will need a current driver’s licence, an enthusiastic and motivated outlook, a genuine interest in people and experience in providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities include;

Providing exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customers

Tinting and mixing paint

Colour advice and matching
-
Stock management / housekeeping
-
A commitment to workplace health and safety
Experience / Attributes;

A background in trade and paint sales with a paint specialist or in a hardware environment is preferable

Able to problem solve and use lateral thinking

Willingness to learn and continuously improve

Able to contribute and work in a small team environment

Honest, reliable and punctual

Flexibility and willingness to assist in all areas of business

Available to work some weekends

Current driver’s licence essential

This role involves some heavy lifting up to 20L

Forklift licence would be an advantage
